About Iona

Hi, my name is Iona. I moved to Ireland in early 2024 after a lifetime of feeling the call of my heart and my love for this country and its people. I am finally home. 

For me personally, this move and everything that goes with it and what it means for me was only possible because I am rigorously and continuously trying to heal myself from my conditioned, wounded Self to my essential Soul Self. I wrote a bit about this here.

So what I am offering here is not just a therapeutic method with effective tools: It is a way of life that I have personally tried and tested over the last 30 years and with which I have helped many individuals, couples and groups over the last 20 years.

Earthly career & training background

After graduating from high school in Germany, I studied a colorful mixture of psychology, pedagogy, education and natural sciences as well as medicine for eight semesters (4 years), but then decided to complete my training in an alternative way at a naturopathic school because I could not reconcile the strict academic worldview of the university with my own soul intuitions and my understanding of the human nature.

Between 2003 and 2013, I completed training courses in deep-founded therapeutic facilitation with an emotional-spiritual context. I facilitate people psychotherapeuticly and as an emotiv-spiritual facilitator since 2003.

Emotio-spiritual soul journey: Integration of Nondual Awakening & GodRealization in the context of emotive soul healing

Since my teenage years and throughout my young adult years, I followed various paths to deconstruct the protective/ compensatory self and to authenticate and purify my heart and find a deeper sense of my soul.

At one point in my own inner journey in the summer of 2013, where deep processes converged within me, I was found, to my own surprise (as I have never actively done anything for it; like meditation), by what I later came to call the Nondual Aspect of the DevineBeing. This event led to a fundamental and lasting change of consciousness and deepened a few years later in ever deeper GodRealization.

Since I have integrated these spiritual awakening processes to a critical degree, my spiritual-therapeutic capacities have also deepened in a way that I now also facilitate people far beyond the conventional, psychological counselling into deeper "heart landscapes" of the SoulSelf and beyong (Awakening/Enlightenment, Godrealization).

Through these processes into DivineSelf/Love-as-Essence, my age-old soul quest of what could possibly exist prior to NonDuality/pure consciousness has been answered: From the eons-long split between eternal Individuality-as-Soul and the UltimateDivineLoveBeing unfolding into Nondual StillnessVoidInfinity, this spiritual shift within myself finally became a formless form of wholeness in which my individuality and the Divine exist simultaneously without contradiction, while my own seat of being moves back and forth somewhere between SoulEssence-as-Love and Divine-Essence-as-Love in the context of inner Stillness/Yin.

This shift has had a fundamental impact on my work with people/souls: Besides the fact that this Soul-Essence-Love together with DivineLove forms the ground of every encounter, I very specifically invite the very most vulnerable, tender, wounded, needy parts as well as the deepest, darkest, ugliest shadow of the people/souls that come to me into consciousness and into the center of the experience. That really helps integrating all that you are and eventually finding and becoming your true essence as love & goodness.
